Three Winter Wedding Outfit Ideas

Winter is a beautiful time to attend a wedding. The weather is usually clear but the temperatures can be mild to cold depending on where the ceremony and reception are held. This can make it difficult working out what to wear. You don’t want to look bulky with a jacket, but you certainly don’t want to freeze in a little sleeveless number. We’ve put together three winter wedding outfit ideas that are on trend and will keep you warm and stylish.

Winter Wedding Outfit Ideas

Wedding Outfit 1: Lace Dress

The Bride isn’t the only one who can wear lace to her wedding day. It’s a perfectly acceptable to also wear lace but good to avoid white or cream. A long sleeved lace dress will keep your arms covered and those goosebumps at bay.

Wedding Outfit 2: Pencil Skirt

A pencil skirt teamed with a blouse or knit can look like a work outfit. But choose a skirt with a floral print, add some heels and a clutch and you have created a perfect winter wedding style.

Wedding Outfit 3: Elbow Sleeve Dress

The elbow sleeve dress is perfect for a mild winter wedding or where the ceremony will be heated inside requiring no jackets. The elbow sleeve dress can easily be layered with a trench coat if need be for added warmth. If choosing an all over print, like this one from Portmans, keep the accessories minimal.
