Miranda Kerr has been the face of Swarovski since 2013 so it was only a matter of time before she decided to debut her own collection with the Austrian brand.
This isn’t the first time Kerr has collaborated with a brand to create a collection inspired by her designs. Last year Royal Albert released a Miranda Kerr tea set. The model has always dabbled in the world of business with her skincare line Kora, which was launched in 2009.
This latest collaboration with Swarovski was a natural transition as Kerr had a good relationship with the brand and believed in their philosophy of spreading light into the world.
Miranda’s inspiration when creating the pieces was drawing on meaningful wishes, for example the evil eye stands for protection and the wish is to live with confidence. Each piece was designed to inspire positivity. The stars represent shine, hearts for love, snowflakes for spirit, clover for luck and wings for freedom.
The pieces are versatile – they can be layered, or worn by themselves. Miranda told Instyle Australia, ‘I love mixing metals and layering. We made the chains super-fine so you can wear them together, and you can also adjust the length. Sometimes I connect three and wear it as one really long necklace.’
The collection is very affordable with pieces ranging from $99 to $399. They are available for purchase online and in Swarovski stores.
